Premium Forage turnips differ from purple top turnips in that they regrow after grazing, which allows them to be uilized earlier in the fall without sacrificing yield. They have a much higher ratio of leaf to root than purple top turnips.

Planting: late July to early September, pure stand rate of 5 lb per acre at an optimu depth of 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
