COOL SEASON PEAS, OATS, RADISH, SPRING BARLEY, HYBRID BRASSICA

Greenshift CS is designed for fall cover crop preceding nitrogen hungry corn or sorghum the next spring or summer. The pea provide nitrogen for the following crop, the radishes improve the rooting depth of the following crop, the oats and barley provide a moisture conserving mulch, and hybrid brassica improves snowcatch over the winter.  The entire mixture can be grazed in late fall, and all components should winterkill to leave the ground open for spring planting.
