Green Up is similar in function to Green Spring but with 5 species for increased

diversity and better adaptability to variable soils. It is designed to be planted in

Spring to produce early hay or pasture or can remain undisturbed to convert spring

rain into a water-saving mulch. In areas with more abundant rain, it can precede

soybeans or sorghum: in more droughty areas it is used prior to wheat and should

be terminated by mid-June to allow soil profile recharge
